Mr Mojo is back in da house....
and I am super glad to have the cheeky bugger back!
doors are locked and he is chained to my desk :o)
gonna make him earn his freedom back after deserting me for so long like he did... lol
oh them there are fightin words! where did they come from? Must be the 'mean' me talkin tonight cause the 'nice' me is over there on the couch watchin icarly on foxtel AGAIN aruugghhh so sick of watchin these kids programs! When will I get control of the remote????

I have had a ball playin with them this week... oops sorry, Mr Mojo just growled at me.... he says he has had a ball playin with em too! Cant forget to include him, he might run away again!

mornin bloggers
yay the school holidays have come to an end, as much as I luv having my kids home, no routine and no running around I am glad they are going back tomorrow! Cabin Fever has hit and they are ready! (and I am sooo ready to CLEAN MY HOUSE!!!)

I have done hardly any scrapping at all since Xmas :o(
that will soon change as I get back into the swing of things and start enjoying the 6 hours of peace a day lol

Living with RA

When we say we can’t do something because we don’t feel well, put yourself in our shoes by using the examples of our symptoms below…

Shots: Fill one of our spare needles with saline solution, saline won’t hurt you, we would love something worse but don’t want to end up in jail. Give yourself a shot every time we do our shot.

Side Effects from the Shots: Bang you head against a wall, wrap yourself in a heating pad, wrap your entire body with an ace bandage tightly then finally treat yourself to some spoiled food or drink.

Painful Nodules or lumps of tissue under the skin: Put equal or unequal amounts of small pebbles in each shoe then take a walk; if we are mad at you we would prefer needles to pebbles.

Weakness: Apply Tightly 10 kg ankle weights and 10 kg thigh weights then take a 5 kilometer walk, clean the house, go shopping and then sit down – how ya’ feeling now?

Balance and Walking Problems: Drink 100 proof grain alcohol and then sit and spin in an office chair for 30 minutes, now get up and see what happens.

Poor Hearing/Buzzing in Ears: Put a bee in each ear and then put a plug in each one…Bzzzzzzzz.

Dizziness (Vertigo): Get on a gently rocking boat all day and all night and take several walks around the deck with your eyes closed.

Limited Range Of Motion: Put on 6 or 7 layers of clothes, extra thick gloves and a heavy coat and try doing daily tasks, opening your medicine bottle, grasping a fork, combing hair, buttoning a shirt. How’s that working for ya’?

Fatigue: Stay awake for two full days to induce incredible fatigue and then cook dinner, clean the house, walk the dog and see how you feel. Please do not compare RA fatigue to you being tired from only a few hours of sleep – it’s not the same at all.

Cognitive Function (Brain Fog): Take a liberal dose of sleeping pills but stay awake. Try and function properly and think clearly. To make it even more real without killing yourself of course, take the sleeping pills with a small sip of wine.

Burning Feeling: Make a full pot of boiling water and then have someone fill a squirt gun with the boiling water and shoot it at yourself all day long. However, you can give us the pleasure of shooting you instead…optional of course.

Intention Tremor: Hook your body to some type of vibrating machine try and move your legs and arms…..hmmm are you feeling a little shaky? You are not allowed to use anything fun for this lesson.

Vision Problems (Corneal Edema): Smear Vaseline on glasses and then wear them to read the newspaper.

Hoarseness: yell at the top of your lungs for hours. How are them golden pipes doing?

Memory Issues: Have someone make a list of items to shop for and when you come back that person adds two things to the list and then they ask why you didn’t get them. When you come back from shopping again they take the list and erase three things and ask why you bought those things.

Depression: Take a trip to the animal shelter everyday and see all the lonely animals with no home. You get attached to one or more of the animals and when you come back the next day you come in while they are putting her/him asleep.

Fear: Dream that you have lost complete feeling in your hands or feet and when you wake up wiggle your hands and feet, just so happens they don’t move. Think about this every night wondering whether something on your body won’t work the next day when you wake up.

Heat Intolerance or Feeling Hot When it’s Really Not: You are on a nice vacation to Alaska. It’s 1°c outside and 20°c inside. Light a fire for the fireplace and then get into it. Once you have reached about 45°c tell me how you feel, even a person without RA would feel bad, now add all of the above symptoms.

Welcome to our world.

Then Finally…
After subjecting yourself to the items above, let everyone tell you that you are just under a lot of stress, it’s all in your head and that some exercise and counseling is the answer.

This may sound harsh or exaggerated, but trust me when I say that it’s all true. RA is most times an ‘invisible’ disease because a lot of us with RA can walk around looking like we’re ok! What you don’t see are the rough times spent at home, alone, when we have flare ups, causing us the most pain. The next time you see someone with a chronic illness and see them smiling, just remember that they’re probably dealing with a whole lot more than the eye can see…and let them know that you care!

1 DT gal - 3 month contract
6 Guest DT gals - 1 month contract each (Sept - Jan)

Applicants must have a positive and encouraging outlook and luvs a challenge along with a chat/great laugh
We are a Scrap Challenge website with open doorways for all, no restrictions on what or how you use product.

another publication meant replacing a layout for my CPT at DownUnder Direct

here is Take 2....

Cybercrop at Ready Set Scrap was a blast!

awesome challenges... I have attempted 3 so far

have till Wednesday night to complete the other 4 - best get my butt into gear!

so far I have only done digi's but I feel the urge to get my hands dirty...

ok stop laughing now... this is me!

the challenge was set by members as a DT Dare

we had to use Purple as our main colour, lace and a memorable even from the 80's

well this photo is actually 1990 but it does reflect a large part of my late 80's memories

being a bogan hoon!!!! ahahaha

and this one was a Curveball challenge that Tracey decided to throw at us on Friday Night

we had to scrap it as she told us to via her strict instructions, no matter what the end result!!!

and this one... yeah yeah stop laughing again!
we had to scrap the music that rocked us in the 80's and well like I said, I was a bogan!!! ahhahahha
speaking of Metallica... Josh just got Guitar Hero Metallica this morning and what does his **** head mother say (without thinking before speaking of course) while the intro was playing
'oh cool, that sounds like the Twilight Intro'
I regretted it even before I finished speaking!!!! He just shook his head and started laughing so hard he is struggling to play!!!
oops!
at least I can listen to DECENT music now...

It will be nice n interesting to catch up with so many I have lost contact with over the years

Although I dont think alot will recognise me from my past! I was known as Janine for so many years and now that I have finally switched to my middle name Nat it might be an interesting time! LOL

Gosh so much has happened since I left High School, I could probably write a book! it would be filled with so many twists n turns the mind would boggle!

I might pluck the courage to one day start scrapping about some of the last 20 years!

I am now finally rested after sleeping for some rediculous 10 hours! oops....

since Tracey's mad dash across the country on Wednesday we have been up all night n day awaiting the arrival of her first grandson

who made his grand entrance into the world (finally - it was an awful LONG labour) on Thursday night 8.47pm

It's soooo cold! yeah yeah I am a sook!

when I got up yesterday morning it was so foggy outside you couldn't even see the power poles on the other side of the road!!!!!

I took this pic at 8.15am when it finally came into view - just!

and this pic I am so proud of!

I was playing with my camera at night and took this shot in total darkness, I could not see anything through the viewfinder and yet it still took a great photo!!!!
Not been doing allot on the scrapping front, been spring cleaning and rearranging my house during the day and crashing from total exhaustion on the couch at night! LOL
must be a sign of getting old!!!
I did do these two though, for the May monthly challenge and May Cybercrop sample for RSS Ready Set Scrap
2 more I can cross off my arm long list of 'to do's'

Good Morning Bloggers!

I am so sorry I have been neglecting my poor little blog lately, I just have no idea where the time is going! yeah well with being on a little holiday, school holidays, chasing snakes, playing taxi to my children, cleaning houses, ironing everyone elses but my own clothes, son's 15th birthday, picnics, sleepovers, screaming kids, sleeping while watching movies on the couch, eating heaps of choccy, well it is easter still LOL

so yeah, life's been pretty normal round here! hectic...

It was my baby boys 15th birthday during the week

I know I cant believe he is so OLD.... that makes me OLD

he didn't want to do anything! so I dragged him down to Hillary's for some dinner

which he did enjoy himself (even though everything closed at 8pm on a Friday night)

there is a pathetic LITTLE fair there so they had some fun on the dodgem cars and clown games

gosh I wish I knew how to use this camera! I took heaps of photos but they all turned out like *****

My new toy...

it takes beautiful photos (considering I have no idea how to use it!)

Met up with my beautiful sister and her girls at Kings Park yesterday and attacked them all like paparazzi - took over 1100 photos!

I know how mad is that?

was a great test for the camera though, the battery lasts forever!

it still has 3/4 charge!!!!

I bought the camera while in Sydney and I blame Tracey and her hubby for it!

they have one and as soon as I took 1 photo with it I was sold!

so we raced down to the shops and bought one! LOL

mind you I got it for an absolute bargain so that's even better

What a wonderful couple of weeks I have had!

SIA was fantastic, Sydney is gorgeous, Melbourne is lovely, Tracey and Shell are both absolutely beautiful, their families are wonderful and all the girls I met along the way are wicked!

I have a tonne of photos to go through so will update again shortly with lots!

for now it's just a quickie to show some of what I have 'sneakpeaked' over the past month

plus some digi's I did on the plane! yeah yeah, sad I know! but a scrappy girl has to get her fix while on holiday somehow! LOL

Mojo has officially packed his bags and moved out I am sure of it

I have had no inspiration, no urge, no desire to scrap at all for a couple of days now and its really starting to do my head in!

Jake on his new toy - great way to wear the boy out! he's been riding this for past few days non stop, exhausted by the end of the day and been going to bed early and sleeping all night long - wahooo!

ohhhh what a week it's been

visitors, visiting, appointments and scrapping

all with not a moment left to scratch my backside! LOL

On Tuesday a few of the girls from Ready Set Scrap invaded the Scrap It Flaunt It store in Armadale for a coffee, catchup and chinwag

all spurred on by Pauly whom is in Perth on holiday - hope your all having a wonderful time

it was a wonderful day

On Monday I got another package from DownUnder Direct to play with

and OMG did I nearly flip out when I seen how much was in there! The poor parcel bloke got quite a shock when I greeted him at the door.... wonder if that's why I had a different one deliver the next time? LOL

Stupid = ME!!!

yep I can admit it, I am... I have had the funniest couple of days with my car and an embarrassing confession to my brother in law - a car man!

see my car was misbehaving, it was taking too long to change into gears

and with its last service the report came back saying it was in need of a transmission service, I just automatically thought it was that

so... after a bit of convincing I asked my BIL to come round and check it out for me and change the tranny fluid

I'm all happy now after 3 days of stressing, jump in it to go down the shop and I see something that makes me shake my head and wanna die from embarrassment!

I flick a little switch and my baby is driving beautifully again

it was in 'power' and not 'economy' so it was supposed to take longer to change gears!!!!

massive slap on the forehead and a 'doh'

kids looking at me like I a right loony as I start crackin up laughing. I get home and ring my BIL to let him know its ok I am just an idiot

after he finally stopped laughing he says he's still gonna come round and have a look at it anyways

cool, all sounds good till I could NOT find the dipstick to check the fluid level

yeah serious, it was just not there! I was actually sitting on the motor looking down in every single little nook n cranny and I could not find the silly thing

convinced someone musta stole it I rang my BIL, who yes you guessed it laughed at me again!

he gets me out there with my camera!!! ok stop laughing now!

I take photos of all over the motor and under the car and in places I didn't even knew existed on a car and email em all to him

he hunts, searches, looks and NOPE he cant find it either

smart a** says - typical Ford, they must forgot to put one on it!

so.... we hit google! Only to find out we just waisted the last 3 hours of searching cause the car DOESN'T actually have one!!!!

see I told you I am stupid....

My little man is gonna be beside himself today when he gets home from school and see's his new Spongebob Bedding

I think I am more exciting about seeing his face/reaction, should be a good one!

My Good Luck Continues....

I lashed out and bought a slick pick 25 lotto ticket for Sat night after my little lucky streak and I just remembered so just checked my ticket

wahooo I won the lotto - twice!!!!

on a roll here... got 3 and a sup twice on one slick pick! how cool is that?

The kids and I just did a little dance around the room cause we can now eat this week too! LOL

Now I tempted to go to the casino! mmm... wonder if I could get a babysitter this late at night?

nah! thats just silly thinkin *slap* wake up girl

Just like my daughter needs sometimes! She is a crack up! her camera goes everywhere with her, even in the change rooms at JayJays!!!!

after being reminded of good ole eBay and a loud DOH! Homer Simpson style with slap to the forehead! I finally purchased Jake a spongebob bed cover and sheet set! He is gonna be soooo excited and I am busting to tell him. I wont though, I will keep them for a surprise

then I went to my LSS to pick up 2 things, Pritt Power Gel and White Bazzill and for the first time EVER I walked out with only what I went in for! My bank balance thanks me but my scrapaholic brain is yelling at me!!!

then...we hit Macca's! greasy easy maccas

I had warned the kids we were on a budget tonight so one combo each, no extras. They all happily ordered and to my shock horror it only came to $24

now that's a first in itself

but it gets better!!!

we get home and unpack the bag, all our quarter pounders were double with large chips instead of regular - wahooo feast time - then... I grab the change out of my pocket to put back in my purse and holy cow there's an extra $20 in my change!!!!

instead of $26 change they gave me $46

and its too far and too late to take it back tonight. This kind of thing just doesn't happen to me, I am the one that usually gets shortchanged! I feel really bad, but at these times I think its just my turn!

well that's what I am tellin myself for now

have to justify it in my head....

just don't tell maccas shhhhh

I had a couple of helpers while I was doing my example

babysitting has perks - scrapbuddies! lol

The girls had an absolute ball cutting sik with all my 'kid' stash

I have a big draw full of bits n pieces for the kids to play in whenever they like and on this day the girls thought it was like Christmas, they each made 2 pages to take home

they now call me 'mum' in hope that they can move in and play everyday...

OMG I have been in hysterics here....

Kellie sent me this challenge where you have to go into your photo files, go to the 6th file and show everyone the 6th photo.

I was sooo worried what I would find in that folder... but to my surprise it wasn't a layout pic but a classic shot of Jake doing a rolly polly down the black sand pile!OK, so now for the fun part in passing it on. Kellie wasn't sure of the rules so she passed it on to 5 others, so I am going to do the same

oh its all sooo exciting, so exciting I have had the scrapping bug BAD these last couple of days and pulled 7 layouts out in 48 hours!

Were did this week go?

I am struggling to believe the calendar this morning, its telling me its Saturday!!!!

I have no idea what happened to this whole week

I blame Mojo, he ran away again leaving me to do the dreaded housework and website building and breaking! lol

yep I broke my new site even before its launched...

I cried like a little baby as I watched it all crash n burn

I have been telling myself all morning that I am a big girl now, no need to cry, get back up on the horse and do it allllllllll again! arrgghhh

speaking of things burning, we had a bit of a bush fire here the other day

so I squeazed 7 kids in the back of my car and took em all up the lakes behind us to see the waterbombers

they all giggled and squealed with excitement as the choppers nearly blew us away while spraying us with grotty lake water! LOL

there were 5 bombers and so cool to watch

and yes that is 'spongebob' jake is clutching onto, he had to come too
even had to be tucked into the seatbelt!
this bloomin yellow dude goes everywhere with him now
he sits up at the table and shares Jake's vegies, he brushes his teeth and he is a bed hog!
it's funny to see his waiting patiently right outside the toilet door for Jake, thats the only place he wont take him!
well thats it for me, I am gonna go stick my nose back into this new site
then I am gonna track down Mojo and drag his butt home, I wanna scrap!!!!

DAY 14 in disguise! LOL

yeah I didnt get time to scratch my backside yesterday eithor! was one of those days...

I ironed allllll day then had to fix Tasha's laptop. She had a nasty bug in there eating things

all done now though, all working as good as new - phewwww!

my baby girl is devistated today though...

and back to a happier note, we finally found Jake a Spongebob!

on ebay of all places... was a funny little experience. he was sitting up on my knee while I was on the phone to the beautiful Tracey, us all browsing through ebay when he spotted one

got all super duper excited, $16 inc postage BARGAIN so we go it!

went through the payment and wat-not then realized it was a bag!

he broke down into tears

so Josh to the rescue, he took over and found a 'teddy' one

so now the lucky little bugger is gonna have 2

the bag is a 13" plush and the toy one is a 7" plush

so what does his silly mum say that made him crack up laughing this time with tears of joy

'you can tuck the little one in the bag one and then Spongebob can have babies'....

we went to the drive ins last night and run a bit of amuck! LOL

the kids had an absolute ball, we froze and were eaten alive by mozzies

this photo cracks me up! it reminds me of the Grease song 'stranded at the Drive in'

might have to scrap it to that theme! LOL and hopefully once I do I can stop singin it...
we eventually got home bout 12.45 but cause the kids had a lolly overload they were all hypo and ready to party on so out came the drums! sorry neighbors....

so now the ratbag has just told me that we have 3 extras for the night for a camp out in the tent! aurrghhhh help me! I hope it blows over in the middle of the night and scared the bajeebas out them! ohhhh on that note I might have to play a few tricks on em ehhehehe ghost noises
wahooo wonder if the boys will be in on that with me? yeah i rekkon this could be a fun night after all!

I did a little scrapping last night, this pic of Shells boy Seth is so cute!

he is enjoying the bowl from choc chip muffins - pure delight!

I tried something a little different with buttons, I sewed them on yet not flat, doubled over the stiching and made them all wonky looking

DAY 10

nothing much happnin round here today, besides Tash going mad with the cleaning bug!

well actually its more like an invasion of the entire house with all her crap bug!

She has decided the best way to clean her room would be to switch rooms with Jake

sounds simple till you see the amount of garbage in those two rooms contain, its enough to furnish an entire house!

but that hasnt detered Tash, its been 6 hours now and shes still going strong, almost half way there! she has taken everything out of her room and put it all into the hallway (and my room) and then moved all of Jake's gear into there

looks good actually

BUT...

Jake is now chucking the biggest sad

he had no idea she was doing a swapsy and is devestated!

and yes its been a much better day than yesterday - a very lazy day actually!

I am so over this heat, it has turned me into a nightowl that spends the day on the couch LOL

was up till 2am rearranging and sorting this house again and shouldnt have! this poor body of mine doesnt like it too much

We have a bulk rubbish collection starting on Monday morn so what better time to sort through every single last bit of crap I can hoard?

Tash and Renee seemed to like me being busy up the other end of the house cause when I ventured back out here this is what I discovered!yep... they raided my stash

had the giggles sooo badly when they spotted me that Renee got the snorts and everytime she did Tash cackled. In the end the pair were laying on the floor in agony with tears running down their faces!

thank goodness I had all my 'new' stash in the other room and they didnt get into any of that, I woulda gone apes**t hehehe

Josh finally crawled home today, very red and burnt, he's been at his mates place since Tuesday near the beach learning to surf

He made me laugh though, he rings me all excited to tell me that they were at Trigg when they closed the beach due to 3 shark sitings heading in their direction! and drops into the convo that his feet are burnt!

I said, what just ya feet?

'yeah mum we were hot so we buried ourselves in the sand with our heads in the shade and just my feet were out'

and yeah they are VERY RED... funny! he had 'white socks' feet only now they red socks!

DAY 8

and I just went into a HUGE panic!

I settled myself down here right infront of the air con (its 38 here today - again!)

to update my blog when the urge stiked for a cuppa, so I jumped up to put the kettle on knocking dear Lappy almost off the table! caught him by the screen

heart was pounding, gees if I killed Lappy what would I do????

so a cuppa was definatlely now needed. Headed to the kitchen, grabbed the coffee out the cupboard and knocked the bag of snowballs onto the floor! be fine if the pack wasnt already opened, but no! just my luck... my kitchen floor had a lovely coating of coconut and chocolate crap everywhere...

so I grab the broom and knock the handle right into Jakes head! he starts howling, Shae (his friend) starts laughing so Jakes chucks a tanty and stomps off past me right through the mess on the tiles to trudge it all onto the bloomin carpet!!!!

arrruuuggghhhh

I take a deep breath clean it all up muttering under my breath and make my long awaited cuppa... mmm tastes good

so off I trot back to the table where Lappy is awaiting patiently and spill my lovely hot coffee all over his keyboard! (*&^%.... Bolt back to the kitchen grab the tea towel and mop it all up, rolling the now wet teatowel into a ball and toss it back into the kitchen!

not exactly a good idea! it knocked the phone off the hook on its way!

oh well too bad, I dont wanna talk to anyone anyway, I gotta update my blog first

ok, now I am all settled to blog.... I shouldnt also mention that I just missed my mouth and knocked my teeth on the coffee cup ....

2009 is gonna be a great year

IM MELTING

it's bl**dy HOT here in Perth today

and my house is like a sauna! all I need is some white towels and wood panel on the walls and walah!

the air con has been on full bore since 8am, whole place is locked up n dark

but with no insulation this is HORRIBLE in here

its so hot in here I cant even type right

so I am gonna go do a big bombie in the neighbors pool, dont care if they feel like visitors - we comin over anyway

seriously, the scrawny man has eye candy bicepts in the movie 'tropic thunder' (pity bout his head! LOL)

watched it lastnight and spent the majority of the time watchin his arms!

yeah my weakness is a man with nice biceps... mmm footy player arms mmmm

wasnt a bad movie actually, and OMG you will never guess which charactor is actually Tom Cruise! I had to rerun the final credits to double check - wat a crack up!!!!

all day Jake nagged me to scrap his Nintendo DS for him! He has never liked the baby blue colour of it and has had it covered in stickers - well that is until today!

he took off the hotwheels cover and picked out what he wanted me to use, Basic Grey papers, Bo Bunny stamps and Kaiser rub ons, placed them on my desk and nagged and nagged and nagged till I finally caved and scrapped his DS to his instructions

'no mummy put that there, cut that from the middle of the paper, I dont want flowers, yeah add the black letters, yeah stamp that there and that here'

the kids got a good eye for scrappin!

and I had fun scrappin my bin! LOL

oh and this disaster! It looked so much better in my head - true it did!
its a little mini canvas n easel which stands bout 4.5 inch tall!

the words that really put a smile on any parents face, christmas morning and the kids are stoked! I didnt get any good photos but so I soo spewin!

and of all of em it was the 14yr old that was last to go to sleep and the first to rise....

we did. spent the morning surrounded by pressies, smiles and noise

the kids father called in for breaky then we headed over to my beautiful sister Kirsti's place for lunch. Back home for an afternoon nap then the noise started....

and what a winner it has been! at 1am this morning I chucked a tanty just so I could get the ratbags off it and into bed....

Guitar Hero World Tour

we have had drumming, guitaring and singing rockin the neighborhood for 24 hours now and my head is gonna explode - it is soooo loud....

but omg it has been absolutley FANTASTIC seeing the kids all playing together laughing and having a great time

Then 9am this morning it all started again - this time the mates started rocking up...

they all 'think' they can sing... absolute crack up

teenage voice cracking vocals together with a** kickin drummin, giggles and guitaring

wat a hoot...

they keep running from the camera but the chickens!

and my babies spoiled me too...
they spotted these coffee cups and said 'yep thats mum, they look like scrapbookers cups, we gotta get em for her'

and this is like heaven... a foot massager (which my feet are on right now)
and the kids also got me a POOF... yep a footstool
their reason for that purchase was

OMG wat a mess I have managed to make today...much to the kids delight - and to think I was once a 'cook' PML

it all started when I made some little chrissy choccies and melted way too much choccy so the Jake and his 2 friends helped clean the bowls - no complaints from them!

then I blew up the food processor! smoke filled the whole kitchen... oops! all I was tryin to do was crush some biccies for rum balls...that made for some entertainment... they were all giggling so loudly and 'bashing' the air to clear the smoke

so how do I crush the biccies now, oh I know, I'll put em in a bag and bash the crap outa them with a rolling pin - well... that was untill the bag broke and it all went flying everywhere!!!

the kids are now have a layer of cookie crumbs ontop of their smokie chocolate covered faces!but it gets worse!

me and my clever ideas...

I decided our rum balls needed to be more chrissmassy so I got out the food dye! red n green coconut sounded like a good idea till I started it...

my hands now look like a christmas tree!

oh and let me tell you bout the trifle! hehehe

I forgot to buy some Sherry so Bicardi it was, one for me one for the trifle, one for me one for the trifle and on it went!....

red n green jelly was the first disaster!

I thought I would pop them into the freezer to help set them a bit quicker, good thought till I swung around from bench to fridge and spilled half of it all over the floor!

so what can I put in their now to replace half the missing trifle???

LOTS... it now has 11 layers! oops...

I got a little carried away! looks awesome but...

and the mars bar slice looks (and tastes) darn good!

so not a total disaterous day...except now I gotta go do all them bloomin dishes!

man I made a mess....

good thing its the silly season after all! LOL

ok, back to it I go, just had to sit with a cuppa and recouperate after all that

Christmas Eve

wahoooo its nearly here

the christmas spirit has finally hit, kids are still asleep and I have a gazillion things to do today!

typical me has left alot to last minute!

I only managed a little scrappin yesterday inbetween the chaos

Only me updating again! I know this is the second time today!

no I am not any madder then yesterday, still just as insane and with the chatters! LOL

I was bustin to scrap last night but my bloomin mojo musta packed up and moved out, he was feeling a little neglected this past couple of weeks

Busy Busy Busy
this past couple of weeks have been pretty full on around here in the prep for chrissy, visitors staying, school holiday starting and getting this house ready for the festive season (and rent inspection LOL)
so I thought I would shout myself a few treats at spotlight!
I hit the Kaiser rack and filled the trolley
nearly died at the checkout
BUT
wahhooo look at all these goodies I got to play with nowyeah I know, I got carried away and couldnt help myself, I had to open nearly everything the second I got home and play....

I also got some papers, punches, embellies, felts, alphas, towells, bath mats, shower curtains, bamboo blinds, chrissy nic nacs, kids crap, paints, jewellery boxes and all sorts of crap!
oh well, its only once a year... hehehe

everyone needs a little extra luv this time of year

it's christmas....

it's stressful....

it's exhausting...

Tash, Renee & their little buddie 'fly' have reached up to the sky to grab a little sunshine to spread around

meanwhile Jake wondered around as a pirate trying to cash in on everyones bounties for himself... wrapping paper rolls make great swords and they hurt too! LOL

and gotta show you all too, my lastest little creativity!

I made a calander... wahoo my first otp in ages and geez I really enjoyed making it too

had a ball with inks and glimmermist

I got this in my gorgeous 'secret santa' pack from ???? at Deb's Creations

thank you whoever you are, the pack was absolutly GORGEOUS

I used the new Fancy Pants 'All Fall' papers

each of the pages have been distressed and stitched into a little booklet

the older kids are getting money this year from me, so I made some little cards with pouches on the inside to slot the money into

I havnt scrapped for 2 days now and by golly by gosh my hands are itchin....

I have the cutest little mini easels with canvases here that have been screamin at me to scrap em

i could even hear them from my bedroom this morning, they made me get up way too early to come out here and start on em! but... I gotta stop and put em away for the day

OMG i gotta tell ya bout my day yesterday

I spent a total of over 10 hours just DRIVING yesterday!

good thing I put the car in for a service the other day LOL

we had some fun though whilst cruisin the streets.... this young guy in a pretty flash nissan next to us a the lights thought he was just sooo cool till I took off and left him for dust behind me! PML

ok so I need to grow up - another day!

I've surely had my day behind the wheel though! some are too scared to get in the car with me

Yep I am... most definately the proudest mum in Perth right now!

my kids have all had a wonderful day and I cant wipe the smile off my face
it all started this morning when Tash won a achievement award at school for ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE IN YR 8 MEDIAthe overall out of over 300 students for 2008
then Josh won one too!!! for ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE IN YR 9 MEDIA - FILM & TV the overall out of over 300 students for 2008
check out the medals they won.... they got lovely certificates too

AND he also won a 'service colour' award for RECOGNITION OF OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE SKATE PARKwhich he ran along with 3 of his friends for the entire school of over 2000 students.... yes they have a skate park inside the school compound!
Josh got a lovely certificate for this too and a shirt pin with 'BCC skate park 2008' on it....
They go to BCC (Ballajura Community College) which is the largest school in WA and both my darlings got overall achievements and I am sooo totally proud!!!
AND IT GETS BETTER
their school reports came home today too
Tash - 6 A's and 2 B's
Josh - 5 A's and 3 B's
They have both done sooo fantastic and I am soo very proud
Jakes report comes home tomorow....

ohhhh wat a day....

chrissy shopping is DONE... all finished, kapootsa and over! yippeeee

(even though I robbed peter to pay paul - its done!)

just gotta find good hidey holes now and time to wrap it all tonight when the kids finally fall asleep

I had my car in for a service today which meant I had 5 hours to wonder the shops while waiting, so my beautiful sister and mother came for the long drive up my way to spend the day amongst the mad crowds with me

but now... omg my feet are killin me! this rheaumatoid really sux! it sux so much today I cant even spell it right and i dont care!! LOL

but to make it even worse I have 2 ironing jobs in to do tonight AND we are going out to dinner! oh man... I am gonna need a miracle to get through all this! that and an extra pair of feet and a few more hours would be nice

I cant believe he is growing up so fast!

I have also done up another tutorial (link in above menu bar) on using these prima say it in crystals

anyone that has used them before will know just how tricky they can be and for those who havnt yet, its a great place to check out as they are quite difficult to get onto your work

i have killed my poor little sad pathetic looking blog! LOL
